We believe that no decent thing deserves to end up in a landfill. To do this, you can donate things that you no longer need to us, and buy those that you do need. This way we can open new centers all over Estonia so that reuse becomes a good habit for everyone.

MTÜ Uuskasutus is a self-sufficient social enterprise established in 2004 by the Good Deed Foundation, the Estonian Nature Foundation, the Caritas Foundation and two private individuals, Rasmus Rask and Priit Mikelsaar, with the goal of sending used things into circulation and making reuse easily accessible and everyday for all Estonian people. We dream of having a million reusers in Estonia!

We want to reach a situation where all Estonian people consider (at least partial) reuse as natural when buying and using their everyday things. For this to happen, reuse must be easily accessible to the average buyer and second-round products must be able to compete in quality with cheap new products.

The Recycling Center promotes recycling in two main ways: we recycle clean and usable items and we look for ways to give old items a new life. We believe that no decent item should end up in a landfill.
