Our vision involves two different but deeply connected parts. The first part aims to build the right tools for our partners (over 500 retailers from Estonia) which they can use to attract customers both offline and online. The second part is to craft positive shopping experiences that make the process of shopping easier and fun for our millions of customers each year.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic developer who is willing to take on the role of first engineer in a startup that is shaping the Estonian retail sector.
Your main task is to be one of the key Java developers to build https://astri.ee/ and other projects.
You will work closely with our existing top-notch development partner on the architecture of our products and various services that aim for future growth in e-commerce and omnichannel retail.
What helps you succeed:
Our tech stack includes Java Ninja Framework, Jetty, Jenkins, Apache, MySQL, Ubuntu, Git, Bootstrap 4. We expect you to have good knowledge or interest in all of them.
You can deliver reviewed and well tested integrated code.
What makes you extra special:
Hands-on experience with automated testing, code reviews, clean code and other best practices.
Good communication skills, leadership qualities and experience in agile management.
University degree in IT field.
Interest in e-commerce.
