Endel Polli – nearly 40 years of market life, and every day counts!

I came to Keskturg almost 40 years ago because there was no sales opportunity for the pigs I raised. Back then, there weren’t even market halls – we had to stand outside in the cold and sell. Over time, it grew into not just work, but a lifestyle and a steady source of income.

About 90% of the goods at my stall come directly from small Estonian producers – that means freshness and quality, which I stand for. Every Thursday new goods arrive, and by Sunday they are usually sold out. Those who value good things will always find their way to me.

There have been many warm moments, but one of the brightest was when a nearly 100-year-old grandmother praised the meat she had bought and brought me chocolate as a thank you. That touched me deeply.
