Recycling Points

CLOTHING AND FOOTWEAR

  • At the Uuskasutuskeskus collection house you can bring clean and intact clothes, shoes, books, music, dishes, toys, home textiles, hobby and sports equipment, and small household appliances.
  • At the flea market Garderoob you can rent a booth for a week or even for a whole month.
  • At the Sõbralt Sõbrale second-hand store, you will find clothes, accessories, and shoes for the whole family.
  • You can bring your used bike and cycling equipment for sale at the Big Bike Fair (held in April).
  • You can bring your used winter equipment for sale at the Big Ski Fair (held in November).
  • Sort your home textiles and bring them to the H&M store (all textile products, including clothes, children's clothes, and home textiles).
  • Clothing repair and tailoring services are offered by the Lõunakeskus sewing workshop.
  • Shoe repairs are provided by the cobbler operating in our center.

BOOKS AND MAGAZINES

  • Bring books that are left unused at home to the "free books" shelf, located near Rimi and Lindex. This way, the next reading enthusiast can take them home.

  • At the Sõbralt Sõbrale second-hand store, you will find books, home decor items, DVDs, and CDs.

ELECTRONICS

  • C&C – Apple devices can be brought in for servicing. In addition, old small electronics are also accepted.

  • Telo24 – iPhone repair and maintenance.

  • Elisa FIX – small electronics repair.

  • Maxi IT – small electronics repair.

  • Telepoint – mobile phone repair and acceptance of old phones.

  • Euronics – electronics repair. Also available are collection boxes for bulbs, batteries, and small electronics.

  • Rimi, Coop Maksimarket and Bauhof stores have collection points where you can bring used batteries, light bulbs, LED bulbs, and smaller electronic devices.

  • Ikea has collection boxes for light bulbs, batteries, and electronics.

  • Lidl - collection box for batteries and e-cigarettes.

  • Bolt - scooter charging station.

  • Bikeep - bicycle storage.

  • Waste electronics collection station - small electronics collection box.

MEDICINES

  • Bring the medicines to the Apotheka pharmacy. Only prescription and over-the-counter medicines are accepted. Beauty products, food supplements, etc. are not accepted.

PACKAGE-FREE HYGIENE PRODUCTS

  • At Rimi, you can buy laundry gels, hand soap, and similar products in your own container – cheaper for you and better for the environment. Simply bring your empty packaging, fill it up, and pay only for the product. Instructions for purchasing hygiene products in your own container can be found in the store.

PACKAGES 

  • TILK packaging is accepted at our Information Point.
  • You can take reusable shopping bags to the "free books" shelf near the Rimi at Lõunakeskus.
  • You can take cardboard and paper to the Lidl collection box.

ASTRI GIFT CARD IS REUSABLE

  • Take an expired or used Astri Gift Card to the Lõunakeskus Information Desk.

CAMPAIGNS

  • During the summer, our community garden welcomes all gardening enthusiasts and fresh air fans. It’s a great place to take a break, enjoy the greenery, or even have a picnic!

  • Join the Astri Group and Lõunakeskus employees at the annual spring clean-up day. We encourage everyone to do some tidying and cleaning up at home and at work in the spring.

EVENTS

  • Suur Rattalaat takes place in April. Used bikes and bike equipment are sold at the fair.
  • Suur taaskasutuspäev takes place in May. There are reuse shops at the fair, and people can rent a space to come and sell their own items.
  • Suur Suusalaat takes place in November. Used winter equipment is sold at the fair.
