Our story began in 1992 in the premises of the Nõo collective farm’s sausage workshop. The very first product of the newly established Nõo Meat Factory was the legendary Nõo roulade, of which we used to produce 100 kilograms per day.
Today, the Nõo portfolio includes more than 600 meat products: fresh meat, minced meat products, frankfurters and sausages, hams and roulades, pâtés, snacks, various seasonal products, and much more. And of course, our renowned roulade has remained in the selection to this day — a delicacy that families and friends alike share when celebrating special moments together!
Various studies show that Nõo products are well-known and loved among Estonians. We also supply our meat products to catering companies. In addition, Nõo takes care of neighboring countries’ dining tables by exporting its products, for example, to Latvia and Lithuania.
Nõo Meat Factory is a strong advocate for the high quality of Estonian food industry, and has even been behind the idea of turning smoked sausage into an international Estonian food success story. Nõo Meat Factory has been awarded the title Family Business of the Year at the Estonian Best Enterprises competition organized by Enterprise Estonia (EAS), the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Estonian Employers’ Confederation.
